Cross Ice Pass is a podcast about the greatest sport in the world, Hockey!
Cross Ice Pass is more than just about stories for the boys and more about rich connections. It’s about how hockey has brought the guests into more significant things in life. I hope to hear about the sport as a springboard to great ideas. Additionally, I look forward to how varied each story will look, and sound, from more than just a current or retired NHLer but also people making massive changes to communities, teams, brands, and organizations. The hockeyverse is a worldwide community and I am hoping to tap into all aspects of it with a great ear and an empathetic lens.
I look forward to showing how the sport is a crucial part of my life and how much I continually learn with every post and story I see and hear. I will be giving a big pass cross ice pass to your listening eyes and ears and it will be right on your tape (even if its cloth, friction, white, black, or rainbow)!

Coach Steven Mosier was born in Waterford, Michigan, then moved to New York City at 21. He has had the hockey bug since the Detroit Redwings became dominant in the nineties. As a teenager, he spent all his free time playing hockey on the ice, pavement, and courts. The Coach started later than most at twelve, but he knew this was the sport for him from the first time he sprayed snow on the boards while skating. Just after moving to NYC, I started my USA Hockey training to be a certified coach and I have been coaching at Sky Rink in Manhattan for nearly 20 years. He still is playing, coaching, and watching a ton of hockey.
